Accessibility statement
This site was built so that everyone can use it comfortably, including people with disabilities. This statement lists what has been done, what has not yet, and how to reach us if you run into difficulty.
Current status
The site was developed with the aim of meeting Israeli Standard 5568 (WCAG 2.0 level AA). As of today it has not been audited by a certified accessibility professional, so we do not claim full conformance. An audit is planned before the official launch, and this statement will be updated with its results.
What has been done
- Semantic page structure with headings and labelled navigation and content regions
- Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator
- A "skip to content" link at the top of every page
- Alternative text for all property photos and the main image
- Colour contrast checked for text and buttons (at least 4.5:1)
- Browser text zoom up to 200% without loss of content
- Respecting the operating system's "reduce motion" preference
- Keyboard-operable photo gallery with labels and focus trapping
- Hebrew and English with the correct reading direction
The accessibility button
A button in the corner of the screen lets you adjust the display. Preferences are stored only in your browser:
- Text size up to 145%
- High contrast
- Underlined links
- A readable, uniform font
- Stopping animations and transitions
- Highlighting keyboard focus
Known limitations
- Not yet tested with screen readers by blind users
- Property videos, where present, are embedded from YouTube without captions
- Some property descriptions in English are still shown in Hebrew only, with a note
